Bigfoot's slippin!

This would have been a sweet shot of bigfoot I took while I was hiking the other day, but my dadgum finger got in the way of a great shot! It's all good though because I added him as one of my friends on Myspace and he excepted me, so I'll send him a comment later!.....

Cartoons Inc. & Shaggy Duck Studios

This cool cartoon logo was the very first successfull collaboration between Shaggy Duck Studios & Cartoons Inc. I initially thought I would be doing all the drawing and coloring for this logo, but it was later decided that I would just come up with the design, fill in the lines and send it over to Curtis who would then finish it by adding color and company logo along with other minor details needed for his client! The end result was really cool and looked similar to the finished logo above, I hope he doesn't mind, but I took the liberty to spice it up a bit by going back through it and giving it the Cartoons Inc. touch!! I used the original colors used by Curtis, but I put shading in, took out the mouse infront of the dog and added a thick black outer line around the outside of the animals!

Cartoons Inc. launches Toonmatic-1000

Cartoons Incorporated® is proud to present the newest and latest version of the Toonmatic series of INSTANT FREELANCE CARTOONS! Without further ado, and with much anticipation, I present to you..Toonmatic-1000!!
Yeah right! I wish it was as simple as pressing an easy button and having a big industrial sized machine pump out thousands of instant cartoons that are shipped right to your front door! But it's not. You still have to put in the time and sit infront of your computer for hours staring at your screen, draining your brain power trying to meet your deadline! If only there was a way to hook a usb chord straight from your head to the Toonmatic-1000 and have it print out all your cartoons, maybe one day. But in the mean time, the old fashioned way is gonna have to do for now!

Creation of a Grizzzzley Bear!

As a cartoonist, I always wondered how other cartoonists were drawing and creating their cartoons!!
Well, here's a little look at how I draw and create mine. First, I'll draw a rough sketch on a drawing pad using a red pencil, and after I'm semi-satisfied with how it looks on paper, I'll then scan it into the computer. Then, I'll open it into Flash mx, create a second layer and draw over the top of my rough sketch. Thirdly, I'll put color and shading in. This I have to say is my favorite part of the whole cartoon drawing process, well besides being finished!
